Last night, while my football team was being a douche [and I'm not gonna talk about that any further], I stopped being sad and was awesome instead watched the pretty-pretty leaked copy of Stargate: Continuum.

I need to watch it again and make notes and such, but a very quick reaction would be ( under this cut. Spoilers, obvs. )

...

And I'm off grocery shopping because the only things edible in this house are bread and mustard. There must be CHEESE to go with them!

1. Welcome to the world baby Hunter. You doll you.

2. Everyone cross your fingers and fallopian tubes for me, I do believe that after nearly 70 days of bleeding I AM ALMOST DONE WITH MY GOD DAMN PERIOD OF DOOM, DESPAIR AND EXHAUSTION. \o/

3. I have been kind of angstycakes all day. I hate feeling so ferklempt. I really shouldn't watch Jon & Kate Plus 8, think about one day having a family of my own, and then look at my checking account. Those three things done in succession lead to me just being a big old cake of angst.

4. I am working on my day off tomorrow (er, today technically), I get holiday pay for the 4th, and I am working one of my days off next week too. Yippe! That will be a little extra cash for my mounting pile of bills.

5. Every day I wake up, watch the news and realize this place is a lot crazier than it was when I fell asleep.

Monday
Max injured his wrist. Jason was out so when I got home from work I called his mom to see what she thought I should do. (She's a nurse.) I'm sure she loved that. I've had her kid for a week and I've already broken him. It was swollen and painful so she told me to take him to the emergency room for X-rays. We got there around 6, I think, and didn't get home until after midnight. Lovely, but at least it was just a sprain. The hospital is near the 24 hour CVS so we went there for me to price the Coppertone sunscreen I wanted and I was able to work it into a deal on Tuesday. Yay. I also found a shortcut that shaves five minutes off my trip, so I'll be going by the hospital and the park from now on.

So, how are y'all doing? I'm kinda dying here, having arrived from Marcele's place at Campinas after a seven hour journey of not nearly enough satisfying snooze. And because I know myself, I refrained from sleeping when I arrived home, because I knew that it would mean sleeping the whole freaking day and waking up at, I don't know, 1 AM.

Or something.

But the really important thing is that I had a blast in the trip, along with Clara and Tissa plus Marcele and Mark Antony, of course. We got to see Metric playing in the Motomix Festival at Ibirapuera Park (there were also some national bands performing, plus Fujiya & Miyagi and The Go! Team, but these were of no importance), and we also watched TV and bought books and ate a lot - a whole lot of fun, as you can see. ;)

Seriously, thank you for beating boring Germany and winning the competition. Fans of the beautiful game appreciate it (especially us Brazilians, that are used to it, but can't seem to find it in our own national team lately).
